Review spent many hours reviewing water proof pads for our king size bed. We have an expensive mattress and I wanted to ensure we were purchasing the correct product. I read all of the 1 and 2 star reviews for a variety of pads hoping to find the perfect pad, and guess what, the perfect pad does not exist. I decided to purchase the SafeRest and was extremely happy that I did. I have no idea where the 1 and 2 star purchasers found the negative about this pad but after washing and drying as instructed tested the pad to ensure that it would at least be minimal leakage. 5 minutes after pouring a cup of water onto the pad, over a large pan, there was no leakage. I removed the excess water, dried the pad a second time and placed it on the mattress with absolute certainty that for, my wife and me, adequate protection was assured. Not one of the negative reviews came close to describing the product I received and I am perplexed to say the least that the product I received could be the same as described in the 1 and 2 star reviews. From the description of the pad, size, fit, no side protection, quiet, no zipper etc the pad was received precisely as described.

I replaced my 5 year old pad with this one and believe this one with provide the same service for one-third the price of my original pad. Product is exactly as described in the on line information, description, size, materials and workmanship. Excellent pad for the price.
