Feel: The Purple beds have a soft, gel-like feel thanks the Hyper-Elastic Polymer up top. The beds are quite comfortable and responsive. Firmness: Given the top layer is pretty unique, it's tough to pin down firmness but we'd say the original Purple is about a medium. Out of the New Purple mattresses, the 2.0 model is the firmest, the 4.0 model is the softest and the 3.0 model is in the middle. Sleeper Types: Purple mattresses are ideal for all kinds of sleepers. The beds offer ample pressure relief and support. Body Type: The New Purple Hybrid mattresses are good small, medium and larger size individuals. The original Purple is best for petite and average size people. Temperature Regulation: The Purple mattresses are excellent choices for hot sleepers. They allow for a ton of airflow. Edge Support: The New Purple beds provide better edge support than the original. Motion Isolation: The beds actually do a pretty decent jon of deadening movement.

It's a little confusing, but they're both nice mattresses. In terms of what The DreamCloud offers, well, it's a hybrid mattress in a box that's designed for a variety of sleeping positions. It's a comfortable mattress that's not overly soft or firm in general. DreamCloud Premier vs DreamCloud: The natural first question is how do these two beds compare. I am sure we'll post a full comparison review in the future, but the gist of it is, the DreamCloud Premier is actually slightly firmer than the regular DreamCloud Hybrid mattress. Also, DreamCloud Premier has an extra inch of memory foam.
